Bellucci concert guitars are the result of hundreds of hours of passionate work and dedication. It all started in Italy in 1968. Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes and Abel Carlevaro were my guitar teachers and are the men responsible to make the seed of music germinate and grow with every passing year. My love for luthery on the other hand, comes from living in a country with a long tradition in instrument construction that dates back to the Jesuit Reductions of the 15th Century.  The proximity to the best source of woods at the most competitive prices and a low cost of labor, have made it possible for me to come up with great concert class instrument. I build classical guitars from a player's perspective and playability, sound and stunning beauty are my main objectives. Concert guitars with these characteristics are sold anywhere between 8,000 and 20,000 US$ in the US and Europe. My concert guitars are 100% hand crafted in Asuncion, Paraguay and are played in over 90 countries.

USRenato,
Guitar arrived about two hours ago.   What a fabulous instrument!!  Even if I didn't play guitar, her aesthetic appearance and artistry are a great addition to my home.  She sits next to her Bellucci sisters, one also of Brazilian Rosewood, the other of Cocobolo.  Those two guitars have already improved in sound with age.  Please continue to make guitarists around the world happy with your creations.

The power, clarity and beauty of sound on this Cedar top put her in a class of her own. The sound seems to spring out and has no limits. The player knows he is in command of a truly remarkable instrument. A deep resonant bass with a crisp set of mid ranges and the most radiant trebles are the terms normally used to describe a masterpiece guitar.
Add to this beauty the sweet reward that your eyes receive as soon as they look at her. Perfect curves, amazing selection of marquetry and attention to every single detail. I must say that I am becoming the greatest fan of my new Hauser inspired bracing. She pushes sound to a point where a "normal Hauser" cannot. She has an edge and is probably one of the best Cedar tops ever built.

1943 Hauser fan brace that incorporates 3 different species of wood: Spruce, Cedar and Mahogany. The standing tapered Spruce bridge reinforcement augments the power of the high registers whilst Cedar was used on the bass side to augment the power of and resonance of the bass line.

650 mm or 640 mm?
Keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm.
Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat.
