Bellucci
Brazilian rosewood concert guitar, Alpine Spruce top.
A beautiful, powerful
sound and spectacular looks.
The Hauser construction
gives this Brazilian rosewood concert guitar a strong volume and unmatched
projection. I compared the sound
to many of my recent builds and
I kept choosing this babe over and over again. Louder than all the others
and with a tremendous sustain.
You can notice it in the Saltarello
video I made. I only use the flesh of the thumb and free stroke. The sound
is warm and reverberates endlessly.
Notice how I have to stop the sound
at the end of the demo. She peaked 92.3 on the digital db meter at 9 feet
from the sound hole. Quite a
feat considering she's a few minutes
old....
The sound is Spanish with a fresh
South American touch that brings the trebles to where they shine beautifully.
Rich trebles and huge loud and
clear in the bass, with harmonic
overtones which come out naturally. Excellent separation and clarity string
to string, as it is to be expected in a
concert classical guitar. The volume
and projection of the basses make many guitars sound like a toy.
The guitar is perfect for solo classical
performance, guitar and voice and guitar/orchestra. The Alpine Spruce top
is a supreme wood for guitar
construction. the separation of
voices and clarity that the wood provides are a dream come true for any
guitar player.
The Brazilian rosewood is a gorgeous
dark chocolate 31 years old set from Rio de Janeiro. Simply put beautiful.
Evenly distributed grain that are matched
by the Italian spruce from Val D'Aosta.
The Alpine spruce makes vibrato really easy and takes clarity to a supreme
level. Spectacular Ebony/spruce
marquetry, Hawaiian Koa bindings,
a rare figured Palisander cut for the armrest and a Russian rosette melt
the parts together in a true work of art.
The headstock is gorgeous and the
tuning is smooth and very precise.
The Action is excellent ! 640 mm
and a radius ebony fingerboard make playing relaxed and easy. My overall
score for this Brazilian rosewood
concert guitar: A+
